We commemorated National Reconciliation Week with a significant Liturgy and whole school learning activities.
Reconciliation Week is an important time for Australians to reflect on and commit to improving relationships between Indigenous and non-Indigenous people. The theme Now More Than Ever emphasises the urgent need to address historical injustices and work towards genuine reconciliation. It is important to address the disparities in health, education, and employment between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians. We also need to protect and celebrate Indigenous cultures, languages, and heritage, combat racism and promote social justice.
